Westpac suffers outage as RBA cracks down on bank glitches
Banking customers have on and off access to site.
Westpac’s website has been intermittently working this morning, preventing some customers from accessing their online banking.
The outage comes as the Reserve Bank of Australia warned banks that they would face tougher rules for reporting any outages and glitches with their electronic retail payments systems and follows a number of outages with NAB, CBA and Westpac’s electronic retail payments systems.
